Rosália Sá and colleagues have been awarded the SPMR prize 2021!

UMIB researchers Rosália Sá, PhD, Mário Sousa, PhD, MD, from the Biology and Genetics of Reproduction/Molecular and Cellular Medicine group and Carolina Garcia, MSc, Ana Gonçalves, PhD, Alberto Bartos, PhD, MD, and Luís Gales, PhD, were awarded by the Portuguese Society of Reproductive Medicine (SPMR) with the research prize 2021.

The prize, worth 5.000€, has been awarded to the project “Implications of treatment of COVID-19 infection for human sperm”.

This project aims to understand the effect of potential COVID-19 antiviral treatments on sperm parameters. Congratulations!
