Sofia Pereira

Sofia S. Pereira concluded her PhD in Biomedical Sciences, at ICBAS, in 2017. Currently, she is a full-time Assistant Professor of Human Anatomy, at ICBAS. In parallel, Sofia S. Pereira is an integrated PhD member of the Endocrine & Metabolic Research group of UMIB and treasurer of this research unit. Her main scientific interests are the study of the molecular signatures and mechanisms associated with obesity surgery failure, and the search of molecular markers for adrenocortical tumors diagnosis and prognosis.
