Doctorate in Biomedical Sciences – Neurosciences (Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa). Fellowship in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience (2000-2002) and research scholar (2002-2017) at University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Residency in Clinical Neuropsychology and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation (2002) at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. Neuropsychologist and head of the Neuropsychology Unit at Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto, since 2009.
