Raquel Bernardino

Raquel L. Bernardino was conferred his LSc and MSc degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2013 at the University of Beira Interior. In 2019 she completed her PhD degree of Biomedical Sciences at the ICBAS-UP. Currently, she is a Junior Researcher at UMIB and responsible for UMIB Scientific Secretariat. Her research interests cover hormonal and metabolic modulation of spermatogenesis. Special attention is given to ionic/water transport in Sertoli cells and spermatozoa, and mechanisms by which endocrine disorders result in subfertility and infertility.
