Margarida Andrade

Margarida Andrade is a final year student of the Degree in Biochemistry at the University of Porto and a member of the Core of Biochemistry Students at the University of Porto (NEBUP).
She has a strong interest in the field of Medically Assisted Reproduction and has completed an 80-hour online training in the 80 European CME Credits (ECMEC) Assisted Reproduction Specialization held at the IVIRMA Campus. In parallel, she carried out an undergraduate internship at the Laboratory of Cell Biology of the Department of Microscopy at ICBAS, where she carried out research in the area of processing and analysis of human seminal samples.
She is currently developing research in Human Reproduction, focused on one of the seminal parameters of male fertility, in the same laboratory.
In the future, she intends to continue to invest in her academic training and to deepen her studies on Human Fertility to later work as an Embryologist.
