Lúcia Lacerda

Lucia Lacerda received academic training at ICBAS-UP in Biochemistry and has a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, with a sub-specialty in Human Genetics. As team investigator she developed research in 9 R&D projects, and has authorship in more than 40 peer review scientific publications. Focused on biochemical and molecular diagnosis of Inherited Metabolic Disorders, she has a domain of specialization in lysosomal and peroxisomal diseases. Presently she works as member of the national and European MetabERN reference centre, at Centro Hospitalar e Universitário do Porto.
