Isaura ribeiro

Isaura Ribeiro works at Biochemical Genetics Unit in CGMJM – CHUP. Is graduated and master in Biochemistry, and has received the title of European Clinical Laboratory Geneticist by the European Board of Medical Genetics. As member of Biochemical Genetics Unit developed work on biochemical and molecular diagnosis of Inherited Metabolic Disorders, with a special focus in lysosomal storage diseases. She is author and co-author of several papers and scientific communications in the field of Inborn Errors of Metabolism, and participates as researcher in financed scientific projects. As UMIB Unit member, is integrated in Human Genomics Research group. She is also involved in under and post-graduate and professional training in the field of Inherited Metabolic Disorders.
