Ana Rita Soares is currently a Medical Genetics specialist at CHUPorto, and a Ph.D. student at ICBAS/UP. She is also Teaching Assistant at Master’s Degree in Pediatric Nursing at ESE/UP. She did her Master Degree in 2013 at FMUP and her Medical Genetics residency at CHUPorto until 2019. She did an internship at Northern Genetics Service, NHS, in Newcastle Upon Tyne. She has presented several works in both national and international meetings and she is an author of several papers. She was awarded some scholarships and prizes, emphasizing SPGH Award for best oral presentation in clinical research at the 23rd SPGH Annual Meeting and 3rd prize for best poster at the 31st Joint Course On Clinical Genomics and NGS, ESHG.
