My name is Ana Isabel Abreu Mendonça and I completed the Integrated Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto.
I completed my internship at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), Paris. In my role as a community pharmacist, I worked in various areas such as pharmaceutical counseling, pharmacotherapeutic follow-up and pharmacovigilance. I also performed functions as a co-supervisor in curricular internships.
As an additional training I took a Clinical Research Monitoring Course, at Eurotrials; a Pharmacovigilance Course at UNAVE (Associação para a Formação Profissional e Investigação da Universidade de Aveiro) and I also participated in the development of pharmaceutical content for the training entity Vitae Professionals.
At the moment, I’m an intern in pharmaceutical residency program and I’m taking a specialization in human genetics.
