Pedro Escaleira

José Pedro Escaleira obtained the MD degree in Medicine at the Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar (ICBAS), University of Porto, Portugal. He is currently undertaking the comprehensive Medical Residency Program at the Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos (ULSM), Portugal. His research is related to nephropathic amyloidosis, namely fibrinogen A α-chain (AFib) amyloidosis. His clinical research work has been developed in the area of Nephrology at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Santo António, the University affiliate Hospital of ICBAS.
