Samuel Cardoso

Samuel Cardoso is medical student in the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS), at University of Porto and research of the Unit of Multidisciplinary for Biomedical Research (UMIB) – Endocrine and Metabolic Research.
Samuel Cardoso has a particular interest in obesity and related comorbidities, specifically the type 2 diabetes. Currently, his investigation aims on evaluate models’ prediction of type 2 diabetes remission in obese patients after bariatric surgery.
He is member of UMIB’s Media Office Board.
