Cardiologist at Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto, with a special interest in Cardiomyopathies, particularly in Cardiac Amyloidosis, and also dedicated to Cardiovascular Imaging (namely, cardiovascular magnetic resonance and computed tomography).
Teaches medical students at Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar of the University of Porto and is a member of the Unit for Multidisciplinary Research In Biomedicine (UMIB) – cardiovascular research group.
