Patrícia Braga completed hers LSc degree on Applied Biology and hers MSc Degree on Applied Biochemistry, with specialization on Biomedicine at UMINHO, Braga. Then,She joined the Sertoli Cell and Gamete Biology group, to work on a research project aimed to elucidate the role of SIRT1 in Sertoli cells (SCs).From 2020, she worked as a Laboratory Technician with a special interest on mitochondrial health in SCs and in Spermatozoa at ICBAS. Last year she enrolled the PhD programme on Biomedical Sciences, at ICBAS-UP. Her research interest is the role of the mitochondria in Kidney disease.
