Cristina Candeias

I am BSc in Biology by the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, Portugal and MSc in Biology by same faculty. I started working as assistant of Genetics in 2010 in the Cytogenetics Unit of CGMJM, now integrated in CHUP. I am a Clinical Laboratory Genetics Specialist certified by the European Board of Medical Genetics. I am responsible for FISH analysis validation and MLPA analysis performance. I also perform and validate pre and pos natal karyotypes and replace other senior scientists when necessary. My research area is cytogenomics mainly regarding infertility and mental disability.
