We congratulate Marlene Pinho, the newest PhD member of UMIB!

Marlene Sofia Quintas Pinho, PhD student of Biomedical Sciences successfully defended her PhD thesis, entitled “Neurological disorders: risk factors and post-transcriptional regulation”, last Friday, 15th March. Two of Marlene’s supervisors,  Carolina Lemos and Jorge Sequeiros are UMIB members. It was a very important milestone for Marlene and all that were present lived that moment with joy.
