The young researchers Sílvia Pires and Vanessa Sousa, from the Clinical and Experimental Human Genomics group at UMIB, were selected for the competitive “ESHG Observership for Young Geneticists” of the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG). This program offers a unique opportunity to deepen the knowledge in human genetics at prestigious European universities.The award of this scholarship, which is granted only to five young researchers per year, highlights the quality of the work and the potential of the researchers and UMIB in the area of ​​human genetics.
