UMIB Researchers Featured in Research.com Ranking of Best Biology and Biochemistry Scientists

Mário Sousa, group leader of the Biology and Genetics of Reproduction/Molecular and Cellular Medicine group at UMIB, and Manuela E. Gomes, group leader of the Research Group on Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Modelling at UMIB, have been ranked #48 and #20 in Portugal, respectively, in the Research.com Ranking of Best Biology and Biochemistry Scientists. The 3rd edition of this ranking is based on data from multiple sources, including OpenAlex and CrossRef. The ranking positions are determined by a researcher’s D-index (Discipline H-index), which considers only publications and citation values within the specified discipline.
