UMIB researchers and the World Kidney Day 2024 celebration

We want to evoke the World Kidney Day, last March 14, 2024, at the High School/ Agrupamento de Escolas Infante D. Henrique, in Porto. The UMIB researchers from the Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation Group organised the awareness-raising action for kidney diseases among the 8th, 9th and 10th year’s students.

Catarina Ribeiro and Ana Cunha, MD’s and Nurse Cristiana Sarmento from the Department of Nephrology of  Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Santo António (CHUdSA) brought to discussion the lemma “Kidney Health for All: Promoting Equitable Access to the Best Care and Treatment”. The partnership with Sónia Faria, Museologist from the CHUdSA/ULSSA Museum contributed for this success included in the Health Education Project.
