UMIB researchers covered by SPD (Portuguese Society of Diabetology)

On March 18th, two UMIB members were awarded two scholarships awarded by the Portuguese Society of Diabetology (SPD) at the 19th Portuguese Diabetes Congress!

Carolina Lobato was awarded the Manuel Hargreaves / SPD Scholarship, to support a Clinical Research internship, in the area of knowledge development in Diabetes, at Imperial College London.

David Carrageta was also awarded the Nuno Castelo Branco / SPD Scholarship, to support a Fundamental Research internship, in the area of knowledge development in Diabetes, at the Houston Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute.
