Marco G. Alves and colleagues have been awarded the SPMR prize 2020!

Marco G. Alves, researcher of the Biology and Genetics of Reproduction group, and Pedro F. Oliveira, former member, were awarded by the Portuguese Society of Reproductive Medicine (SPMR) with the research prize 2020.

The prize, worth 5.000€, has been awarded to the project “GPR30 mRNA abundance in human spermatozoa and its association with outcomes of assisted reproduction”.

The aim of this project is to increase the effectiveness of assisted reproduction techniques, using sperm GPR30 mRNA as a predictor of embryo quality. Congratulations!
