On May 11 2026, Sara Pereira successfully completed her PhD with the defense of her thesis titled “Nanovesicle-to-Spermatozoon Trafficking of CFTR Applied to Infertility.”

Developed within the Doctoral Programme in Biomedical Sciences, her work contributes to advancing knowledge in the field of reproductive biology and infertility, reflecting the dedication, scientific excellence, and commitment demonstrated throughout her doctoral journey.
