UMIB Researchers awarded at the “Congresso Português de Endocrinologia”
UMIB’s group “Endocrine and Metabolic Research” had fruitful participation on the “Congresso Português de Endocrinologia”. Sofia S. Pereira, Ph.D., a researcher at UMIB was awarded a fellowship “SPEDM – HRA Pharma Iberia” in the Cushing Syndrom area with the project “Comprehensive molecular characterization of ACTH-producing cells within Primary Bilateral Macronodular Adrenal Hyperplasias originating Cushing’s Syndrome”. Sofia Oliveira was awarded the basic research prize with the work “O papel da via do ANG-TIE na angiogenese dos tumores adrenocortical”. Carolina B. Lobato receive an honorable for the clinical research group entitled “Glycaemic variability after gastric bypass: preliminary insights on the path to glycaemic control”. Congratulations to all!
